My personal first time and I loved everything. The food and service were incredible and the owner was such a delight!
Wonderful southern food with big portions. Lots of homemade deserts to chose from.
I recently started working in the area and was recommended to try this restaurant out. As Soon as I walked in the door it reminded me of the hometown feel of where I'm from(West Virginia). Everyone smiling and friendly and immediately asked if I needed help. It was extremely packed and after trying the food I realized exactly why. It was nice to have this experience considering I haven't really felt that since moving to the Memphis area. If you ever have the chance to try this place I recommend it 100% on all aspects!
The best lunch spot in town! They offer a delicious menu with generous portions, plus daily lunch specials at a reasonable price. The warm, welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff create an authentic small-town cafe experience you won’t want to miss."
The place was very busy. (Which is a good thing) a cute little country cafe downtown. The signs were funny and nice to look at in the restaurant. The parking was alright. Good prices. Get the squash casserole!
The "Best Cheeseburger and Fries" in TN. Everything they serve here is delicious!!!
We were looking to get off the main road and find some local flavor. This place fills the bill. I loved the lasagna and my partner was pleased with her hamburger steak. Although, the desert selections make the cafe worthy of a stop even without a main course. Great service by Emily. We will be back.
It is sometimes hard to believe places like this still exist. A greeting from the owner, Becky, when you open the door... Humble country charm from the staff. A check up every few minutes to ask “Are you okay?” or if you would like a top up of sweet tea... Hand made food with simple, rich, ingredients, and a lunch rush of locals and travelers hoping for a taste.
